My work concentrates on finding the essence of an image and the aesthetic. I use a computer program to generate looped video that with the intention of visual simplicity. I believe technology is at such a point where what we are able to far exceeds what is being done. So work is digital, but back tracked historically from a visual perspective. I try to create a space that is familiar yet unrecognizable. Because that space between what we know and what we feel is familiar I believe is where creativity lies.
